A breast cyst is a fluid filled sac that develops in the breast area. Breast cysts are very common, and tend to feel quite smooth and rounded to touch. Sometimes they can feel a bit tender to touch- this tenderness may change at different times during the menstrual cycle. Breast cysts are not cancerous, and usually no action is required.
