Getting test results from Qoctor

If we receive test results relating to you, you will be contacted via SMS/email once the results become available. In most cases this will be because you have requested a test through our website. Sometimes we may also receive results from other providers you have attended.

If your results are abnormal and/or require further discussion, you will be advised to book a video consultation with one of our doctors- you will receive a link to do this.

If the results are normal, a further consultation may not be advised (though you will still able to book a video consultation if you wish to discuss any aspect of the test with a doctor).

When is my results follow-up consultation free?

If you have ordered a test through Qoctor, a free follow-up video consultation to discuss the results is included in your original booking fee, when you ordered the test.

• The purpose of this follow-up video consultation is purely to discuss the test result(s) and actions that may need to be taken.
• This free consultation is valid for 28 days after your original order, after which time it expires.

When do I need to pay a fee? 

In some situations, a follow up results consultation will involve a fee of $29.99, including the following:

• If you ordered a test through Qoctor but already used your free consultation and now want an additional video consultation to discuss the results further
• If the 28 days from the initial order has passed
• If the tests we have received were not ordered through Qoctor, but come to us via another doctor or provider, but you want to discuss them with a Qoctor doctor.
