Usually yes. A repeat test around three months after treatment is generally advised, because reinfection is common, especially if a partner hasn’t been treated. It’s not so much checking that the treatment worked, more making sure you haven’t caught it again. And if you’re sexually active, regular testing is worthwhile anyway, particularly with new or multiple partners.
