Chlamydia is a bacterial infection passed on through vaginal, anal, or oral sex with someone who has it. It’s really common, and because it so often causes no symptoms, it can be passed on without either person having any idea. Condoms lower the risk, and if you’re sexually active it’s worth testing regularly, especially with new or multiple partners.
